Captured on the 31st Oct on the Southbank of the Thames in London, I was thrilled by the delightful golden colours of the leaves in the trees and the lights in the stark-black glass of the building behind.
Nikon D700 with 28-300mm Nikon Lense. ISO 1000, 1/20th sec, f’11.0, 28mm, handheld. HDR Tomemapped.
Notice also the Shard is almost finished and will soon be the dominant landmark in the City, it is already, but when it’s finished it will be superb.
Beautiful Don!!, so this is the shard, it will have a very commanding view when finished, I remember when the post office tower was the tallest structure….can’t stop progress…wonderful shot!!
Hi Kate, the Post Office tower is tiny now:-) This will be the biggest until the one across the water is finished:-) The Shard looks impressive though.
