Dandelion Seeds They remind me of a parable that Jesus gave us in God’s Word.
Matthew 13 verses 1 to 9. A Farmer went out to sow his seed.
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear.”
Dandelion’s spread their seeds everywhere too.

A little story Once when a woman came to visit me with her young daughter, the girl looked out of my Lounge window to the extensive garden and she shouted “WOW! Look mum, a whole field of golden flowers.” Needless to say it was a lawn full of dandelion weeds.
Strange how a child could see the beauty that sometimes we adults miss or take for granted. From that day on, until now, I adore Dandelion flowers and long to capture their beauty.
Photomanipulations Each Dandelion is just a copy of the original with manipulated colours in Lightroom. Four images were blended together in PS5 on separate layers, size adjusted, various blending modes, masked to blend in the backgrounds, a few tweeks to hue and saturation on each layer. Reminds me of fireworks, but it just a simple Dandelion head.
