London Graffiti: What does it mean? by

London Graffiti.
Captured in Lambeth South London.
Nikon D700 with 28-300mm Lense.
ISO 320, 1/500th sec at f/5.6, 32mm.

I love this kind of street art and trying to puzzle out what the artist was trying to convey in his work. To me this shouts out Keep smiling even though life can sometimes be like being inside a great big machine that keeps on churning.

But what do others think?

What a great find and capture, Don. That “artist” has quite the skills. Although it’s graffiti, it’s quite intriguing.

  • Thanks for that Mike, any thoughts as to it’s meaning?

i don’t know what it means, but if thats my nannas house, she will be really pissed off!
They are great artists, nothing surer….street art is unreal!

  • Hi David, there are many building around London with some really great artistic pieces, but I do think that some of the owners will not be too pleased by them:-) Cheers mate. Don.

Looks like it’s escaping from a bank vault. “Money can buy freedom”? Or “separate colours and whites before washing?” :o)

  • Great I love the separate the colours comment:-) LOL

Interesting, at least it is artistically done rather than some sprawled ‘tag’ marking some pathetic gang member’s territory …

  • I agree Tom. Nothing worse than the mess they sometimes leave behind.

Well I don’t think it’s Banksy Don, not in the same style but who ever has done it is very talented, I think it’s a harlequin with the colours and design so maybe a clown, he definitely has a huge smile.

  • I don’t know about that:-) But I like it.
