I was walking past the entrance to the local cemetary and spotted these palm trees, I’d never noticed them before, but when I saw them laden with snow I thought, how curious:-) Palm trees are normally associated with the desert and sunny warm places. Hope they survive the chill…

It looks so strange, the poor trees will be wondering what is going on – hehe

  • I know, but I think they’ll survive, they did last year. Thanks Tom.

Excellent capture Don! I am surprised that it isn’t too cold for Palm trees and Pampas Grass in England – sorry to hear about your cold, nothing worse especially with the cold weather – take care and keep warm.

  • Hi Kate, I will keep warm, I hope… As long as the gas and electricity keep going in the UK, aparantly we’re running out:-)

Great to see palm trees like this, that’s something else then the Junipers on a cemetary (though beautiful too)

  • Hi Patjila, thank you my friend.
I think the Cemetary is full of the traditional trees and bushes as well, this is just the entrance way.
