On my second visit to Bushey Park I decided to explore a little bit further. I was on my own this time and could stop and take pictures to my heart’s content. Normally, I have to think about other people, my wife hates it when I keep stopping and looking and viewing scenes. Don’t get me wrong, she loves viewing the results, it’s just the process of getting them. Once she threatened to put my Nikon where the sun doens’t shine:-) LOL. So on my own it’s a lot more comfortable for both of us:-).
This part of thepark is called the woodlands area. It’s a maze of little pathways, ponds, streams, bridges, arches, trees, flowering shrubs, daffodills, ducks, swans and herrons. I turn into a little kid, exploring the nooks and crannys. I loved this little pond and the swans were very obliging, they even posed here and gave each other a romantic kiss. Just like a couple I spotted on a bench on the other side of the pond:-) A stunning location for a romantic stroll. Oh and photography too:-)
