Crowds at the Statue of Eros are always fascinating. Check out the detail capture by clicking the image below and going to full screen. It’s amazing what they are all doing.

Golly gosh, I’ve stood where you are standing a few times in my young life! Terrific photo and I see a crane or two in operation so obviously there is still room for something to be built in London – although no doubt something else had to be pulled down first! Love it Don.
Regards
Peter
Hi Peter, thanks for that good buddy. It’s a great place for people watching captures or candids:-) I waited here to meet my sister with her children and grandchildren then we went off to Hambleys to buy them some toys…

Been there a few times, it is always a magic place. Have you noticed how many of the crowd are using their phones, texting, e-mail, Facebook, etc. I don’t think anyone actually talks on the phone anymore – hehehe
I know, I was watching the people for over half an hour waiting for my sister from Scotland. But it was nice watching all the different things they get up to. Thanks Tom. Don.

They are all doing something different Steve, not just on their mobiles. Some are reading, some eating and others taking photos etc… There are a couple though doing the things on their mobiles:-) LOL. Cheers mate. Don.

The only thing that’s changed since the 60’s about this scene Don is the technology of the mobile phones. No doubt Eros will still be there next century. Great shot by the way.
I know, I remember travelling here as a boy and it still looks much the same. I hope Eros will be here forever. It’s amazing how all that statue is balanced on his little toes…
