Thinking of You: Flowers for Julie from Val and Robert on the death of her father on the 1st March 2009 at 1.25am.

Your tears were soaking the pillow,
in the silence of solitude,
all night long.
Your prayers were heard,
by the Lord above,
and now he’s released from suffering,
with the Angels he’s joining in song.

  • Hey there Gail, thank you very much my friend. We’re relieved and sad at the same time. Our friends brought these lovely flowers around today for Julie. She’s at a loss now after caring for Dad for so long. Thanks again! Don.

Beautiful flowers Don! Sorry to hear about his death!

  • Hi Anne-Marie, thank you for the kind words. He’s released from suffering from bowel cancer now, it was absolutely horrible watching this wonderful man fade away before our eyes. Still, he went peacefully and without any pain. He just slipped into eternity to be with the Lord forever. Thanks again! Don.

I will keep you and Julie and your family in my prayers, Don. I see the shape of a heart in this image of beautiful flowers. It’s interesting to me how God sends messages of love from those who have gone to heaven before us. Julie is blessed to have you as a husband to walk beside her during her time of grieving. Time will mend her broken heart and replace it with precious memories of her Dad. I know this because of I’ve been there and my husband helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. Hugs and blessings to you and your family.

  • Thank you sincerely Marie, you’ve been a great support with your prayers and kind words, may the Lord richly bless you in every way in all that you do for His glory. Don.
