Captured at Higher St Budeaux Graveyard; on a dark and misty morning. It sometimes pays to get out of bed early when the atmosphere is just right for shots like this in the Autumn.

Higher St Budeaux Parish Church Graveyard Plymouth, UK.

Shot was taken with my Nikon D40x.

It’s great having you in RB because it saves me the hassle of getting up early – you take all the shots for us! Goodonya sport! This is classic a la Alfred Hitchcock style and I can quite easily imagine what he would have done with this! We once had to photograph three groups of schoolchildren outdoors in conditions just like this!! What I hadn’t noticed was that a chicken had wandered across just as I pressed the shutter button and, because he was the closest to the camera turned out to be the clearest!! Fortunately, being right out in the sticks, he was part and parcel of the little school so they were delighted to have him in the photo!! LOL All best wishes, Peter

  • Hi Peter, Alfred would have loved this spot. Hope that chicken paid for his pics too:) LOL. Thanks for that! Don.
