Joy of Life: Fountain Hyde Park Londonby DonDavisUK
The ‘Joy of Life’ fountain on the East side of Hyde Park alongside Park Lane. The fountain forms part of the ‘Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Walk’. The fountain was originally sculpted in 1963 by T. B. Huxley-Jones and was recently rebuilt.
What an excellent photo Don and the narrative is great – in fact without that I wouldn’t have known what it was. A super piece of work old friend. Peter
I don’t believe you Peter, I’m sure you were doin a dance as well when you saw this one, even before you read the words:) Thanks for the gracious words. Don.
The sculptures in this beautiful fountain fit the title Joy of Life so appropriately, a well thought out composition and beautifully captured Don, Regards, Rod.
Thanks for that Rod, I wanted to get right in, but Julie wouldn’t let me:)
