This shot was captured whilst out walking with my eldest son Richard along the banks of the river Thames in London. The London Eye is a striking tourist trap, with long snaking queues. It would have taken two hours that day to get on, I thought, “I’ll leave it for another day”. Marvellous sky was given for this great shot. Praise the Lord! I really enjoyed our walk.

Super shot Don. It looks rather like the wheel of my bike from here! Great angle of view and those gondolas wouldn’t have been missing you by much as they came round Peter

Love the composition and the tension the wires create in contrast with the cloudy sky.

  • Hi John, thanks for the wonderful comments. It’s exactly those things that caught my interest in the London Eye. Don.
