Plymouth Barbican Harbour and Fishing Boats by

After dropping my daughter to work early one morning I decided to visit the ancient part of Plymouth, the Barbican. It’s such a picturesque place, visited by many tourists. There are many wonderful photo-opportunities here, and I hope to share a few, especially some that may not be the norm from tourists.

What I like about this photo is the clear reflection and detail in both the water and the boats. I’d love to know what you all think of this picture. Regards, Don.

A wonderful highly reflective image from the Barbican Don, high tide on a beautiful morning is just perfect for this kind of mirror image, beautifully captured.
May I suggest you enter this one in the Light and Reflection Group,
    Regards, Rod.

Wonderful shot Don – I like it very much. There’s no doubt that you picked the perfect time of day to take this because once the boats started moving around the reflections would be finished. Great work. Peter

  • Hi Peter, thanks for that old buddy, so sorry I missed this comment. It was, as you say, the perfect time of day. The water was like glass and not a breath of wind.
