You and I are going to have words dear friend. Scotch Whisky is wonderful as is Irish Whiskey (note the extra “e”) in the Irish version!!!
DonDavisUK replied
OK! Thanks for the spelling lesson Tom:) LOL. I’ve corrected it now though. Don.
Catherine Veal

DonDavisUK replied
Ahhh so you know how to drink the Amber Nectar then, that’s good, I’ll pour one for you too. Ha Ha. Don.
Tom Gomez
Sorry mate, I could not help myself, I just had to tease. Definately no offense meant, I would never try to offend someone who apreciates a good single malt.
Have you tried Bruichladdich, it is a new Islay Single Malt (really smooth). Many of the old distilleries have closed down, so it is refreshing to see a new distillery opening up.
DonDavisUK replied
Bruichladdich! Try sayin that after a few:) LOL. No I’ve not tried that one yet, and it’s a real shame any of the old Distilleries closing down, too much Government interference in the free market, too much tax on Scottish inventions, and just way too many people against the sunshine glow of the amber nectar. In moderation it’s a great wee drink. No offence taken, I ken ye wir ony kiddin mate. Don.
Tom Gomez
Despite its speling, it is pronounced bruik-lad-ie, it is a nice tipple, look out for it, I think you will enjoy it.
DonDavisUK replied
Thanks Tom, I will! and I will I’m sure:)
georgieboy98
Don you’re drunk! I can see two of you! That must have been quite some new year celebration! You must have taken this photo before you got started – no way could you have got one this good later on! Happy -hic – new year mate! Peter
DonDavisUK replied
Who’s Drunk? What on earth have you been upto Peter? Have you been sniffin my pictures?:) Hic! It was a grey day, and Julie’s dad is too poorly to go anywhere, so I stayed at home and tried a few still life shots with Christmas goodies.
Smudger

DonDavisUK replied
Hi Steve, thanks for that mate, but a WARNING, don’t get too close to the picture, it’s a heady drink:) LOL> Don.
Robin Brown
Warm & very inviting Don. Had my 1st Whisky of 2009 last night. A wee sample of a 10 year old Talisker & a wee sample of a 12 year old Cragganmore. Still prefer Cellar 13 though.
DonDavisUK replied
Ahhhh Talisker mmmmm, and Cragganmore? You’ve been spoilt by someone:) LOL. Thanks Robin, have a wee dram on me too. Don.
