    A wonderful fashion statement. Maybe the title Arab head is so so.. :-( since there are many muslim women who are not arab and follow the modesty clothing. Still, the colors, composition and the woman in the BG gives this image interest and connection. Thanks for sharing with the Art of the Middle East group.

    Interesting fashions.
    In the early 1060s my mother started wearing wigs. I say ‘wigs’ plural, because she looked good in different styles and colors and lengths of hair.

    She kept her wigs on heads like these above in the bathroom, where a large mirror extended across the length of one wall.

    The husband of Mom’s best friend refused to use that bathroom because he felt, he said, like a dozen women were watching him! So he always used the one we kids used.

    I’m going to write the story up of Mom’s wigs and put in on my page—Another Mother, that’s what I’ll call it!
