whites
of my eyes full of
sickness and lacerations
behind them the lies
of
Your absence in
silence
realize You’re sensitive seeking
us
seeing
through disguise
silly
tries to sweep You off Your
steps
seduce You to
stay
until suddenly I stare at the
suspended flare of Your love
the demise of hatred that
ties
us
to lust and the dust of
nothing
but this substance
this love You share from Your
wares above
Your abundance these
diamonds
the
dance
and I
do determine that
Your
presence is definite
because I
know
that You stay
remain when we
stain
Your
sparkling frame
hold out in acid rain
display
faithfulness
shoulder the
pain
of our sulking and insults
the injuries
unintended
hurled out from uncertainties we’re
insecure and underdeveloped
inside
but You stay
Oh
God You stay
You
stay to
turn gray for us
decaying
for
us
rusting to prove You’re trust
worthy,
You’re waiting,
always
waiting
always waiting for us, we’ll trust you
yet,
I swear.

It just testifies to His faithfulness and patience for us. I’m so thankful I got the message when I did, I have no idea where I would be right now had He not knocked on my door over and over again.
