I don't know what the key to my heart looks like [but He has it]

Oh the presence
you waltz toward the pools of my heart
draw
affection, lift it up
to Your
lips
and take a drink
when I
think
I
am
nothing
You find beauty in me, resurrect
the gentle breeze of my
words
I am heard
I
am
mysteriously understood
You brood over my soul
it
fits into
the hollow of your hand
relaxes
into
the grooves there
where
it
grows anew
loves
anew
smiles
anew
embraces
You
in circumstance.

This is about my heart being softened. The week was a challenge but I’ve been really refreshed in the last couple days… Thanks to the Lord and some great friends :>

We are always a work in progress. The world tells us that our hearts above all things are deceitful, we don’t even understand ourselves but God sees our hearts and He begins to mold us into His likeness. This takes alot of pressure and fire to refine us but it’s a journey well worth taking. Then He is well pleased. Our trials are what make us strong and have a heart after His, just like David.

  • It’s true… Our trials are important for so many reasons. And I agree that our hearts are deceitful but the Lord has such a beautiful way of working aroun that lol. God bless you and thanks for the comment!

I meant to say the Word tells us our hearts are deceitful. Sorry about that.

Amen, this inward change or transformation after all is our testimony to the world that God is real because we could never change on our own just because we wanted to!
