Counterproductive

Why
don’t you
take
my
ears
home with you
so you can whisper
things
I can’t
accept, because
I can’t
love you back
the
way
you need me
to
and
play with my hair
why don’t
you
keep it
there
what do I need
it
for
anyway
you know I entered your
room
and found the pieces of
me
like easter eggs [scattered, free]
and
collected
them
but they’re broken
shell
pieces
you can have them
back
[again
and again]

This poem is PURELY for the sake of venting. Don’t take this literally. That is all. :>
