The Resplendent Quetzal is found from southern Mexico to western Panama. It is well known for its colourful plumage. This quetzal plays an important role in Mesoamerican mythologies. The Resplendent Quetzal is Guatemala’s national bird, and an image of it is on the flag and coat of arms of Guatemala. It is also the name of the local currency.
Drawing with pencils, then watercolours. I messed up the tail a little bit.
Self-taught in every kind of art. My main focus is on photography, but I also try myself in drawing/painting, vector art and design.
