Wanting to take a picture of this tea infuser but having terrible lighting in my kitchen, I took it to my living room so I could have some good natural light.
Getting a picture proved to be impossible though, since my cat claimed it as his new toy…I’d just get set up to take a great Macro with the right lighting, the right focus and the right angle so you couldn’t see my reflection…
At the perfect time, I’d push down for what I was hoping would be a great shot…
only to get a blurred paw and little to no infuser in sight!
This happened repeatedly.
I didn’t think to lock my cat in the bathroom.
Instead, I just gave in and figured this shot was a perfect telling of my afternoon.

Hehe…cats are great aren’t they? Such wonderful little bundles of joy and fun, and walking sculptures as well.. Nice tea infuser, I have one as well..(huge tea drinkers we Brits) ;-)

  • Mmm…tea. I do love my cats, digitalmidge, although I will admit to calling this one a name or two before giving up and just going with what I have (at least the infuser is in this one…I had a bunch with just fur and paws!).

A fav dolphinkist… and the story behind the great capture is terrific! Looks like your cat is thinking ‘when is he going to be done with my infuser!?’

  • Thanks, bicyclegirl! He was definitely claiming the infuser as his toy. Of course, I buy him toys. Meh. He’d much rather play with my things…ESPECIALLY my ponytail holders! He can play fetch with those for hours (after he’s dug one out of my purse and brings it to me, of course).

The cat is both out of focus and very focused at the same time…

    Great shot & title!

  • Thanks. It wasn’t a planned shot, but he kept getting in the way.
Focus was definitely an issue for both of us!
