Ralston, Nebraska.
An event where families of fallen soldiers could meet, thank, and show their respect for the Patriot Guard Riders who travel all over to protect us from crazies during the funerals of our loved ones.

They are true heroes.

I am touched by this image and this commentary. I did not know of this organization, but am glad that you captured this and shared this information.

  • Thanks, Marjorie! I don’t know how they can keep their cool, but it’s such a great service they provide us families with and we greatly appreciate their time and were glad that we could honor them for it.

A sad indictment that their services are even remotely necessary.
    Thank you for honouring them.

  • Exactly! But I’m very glad they volunteer to protect the families or one little group could ruin an already hard day. I love talking to them and thanking them.

    AMEN and God Bless them.
My husband is a Patriot Guard. I am so proud that he can help to give back just a little for our fallen heros. And you hit the nail on the head when you said “crazies” . There are some definite crazies out there. Jerks!!!

Thank you for your kind words and your fantastic photo. God Bless!!

  • Thanks for your words. And thank your husband for me! I don’t understand those “crazies” out there, but I’m so glad there are people like your husband who protect me from them (and from clocking one of them!).
