I’m not an artist.
I can’t make images in my head appear on paper (or in wood or clay).
My pictures are okay, but never what I wanted them to be.
Rarely does anything I write truly convey the depth of what I feel.
But I want to be.
I want to be able to create my world through a painting.
I want to have the patience, knowledge, talent, patience, equipment, luck, and patience to take that perfect photo.
I want my heart to sing out words that are funny or profound or beautiful.
Maybe if I try harder.
Maybe I have an artist’s soul that just hasn’t been realized.
Or maybe I’m just a wannabe.
But, I’ll try. And I’ll enjoy the works of others on here and revel in the inspiration!
