Nothing says Autumn more then Aspen trees. I have always loved how they grow in clumps as if they were a community with a common goal of beautifying the area. Those golden leaves twinkling in the wind always knock my eye out. I think it is their way of expressing themselves at the change in the season. I think Aspen trees are just happy to be alive, even when all of those wonderful little leaves fall to the ground, they bring beauty to the earth as a golden carpet, returning to the earth as they should in the cycle of life.
I just had to reflect the golden wonder of these trees and add a small creature to set it all off. I hope that you enjoy in some small way what I felt when I saw these beautiful trees.
