When you share the forest with it’s creatures, it’s all about personal space. With the quiet intrusion of the photographer, comes the open and questioning stare of the gentle doe who wonders what that black thing is that you have in front of your face. Curiosity allows the deer to remain until you make a noise or move too fast. Then it’s all over too quickly and you may be lucky enough to have taken an image of a doe leaving the frame, instead of coming into it.
