Purple Crocus with a Redfield filter applied to give it an underwater effect. The butterfly is added as part of the composite, it is said that fairies sometimes take the appearance of butterflies and other insects. In this image the butterfly is a fairy in butterfly disguise. She has disguised the crocus, which is to be her bed tonight, to make it look like it is underwater. This will keep her safe from predators when she is asleep. So in essence the fairy has used a Redfield filter to create an area of quiet repose.
