A Mid-Summer's Sea Fog at the Cape by

As sometimes happens , humid air from 3,000 miles to the north crosses the continent and arrives over the cool Southern Ocean where it condenses to form a narrow band of muted drifting coastal fog.

View to the NW along Cape Buffon, Rivoli Bay, South Australia.

I love the POV of this shot, it is captivating – you can almost feel the humidity.

  • Hi Sue, thank you very much. The fog certainly causes a very localised drop in temp., too.

Fabulous work! Perfect composition, dof, tonality, atmosphere….all perfect!

  • You’re very kind, Clare,.Certainly the softer light is a bonus which makes contrast control much easier. With thanks.
