Summer has almost gone, and a Qantas evening flight from Melbourne slips beneath the moon as it leaves land at Rivoli Bay South en route westwards to Perth, W.A.
Summer leaves you but is hopefully going to arrive here in a few weeks:-) Great shot – sad in some ways. I like the framing as if I were looking out a window.
Hello Kasia – I’m sure it will, although the winter must have been severe. I was going to go all Keats and mutter something about ‘and gathering 767’s flitter in the sky’ :-) !
A wee bit of a budding bard in you there, Dohmnuill:-) Funnily enough Munich has had a fairly normal winter, even too little snow at times. Whereas the north of Germany, Ireland, the UK, Belgium and so on had too much and too often. Wierd.
Dohmnuill, Definitely a B&W image…color even if pastels, would diminish the dramatic quality in the image. Simpilicity at it’s finest. My eye moves around the frame and wants even more, like to be there at that moment to see & hear more of this recorded moment. Peace and tranquility…Well done…

Thank you for your thoughtful comments, Duane. I ‘saw’ this in b&w to remove some distraction from the foreground beach. I’m glad you sensed the tranquility, too.
