Winding west towards the Hebrides, the old track through Glencoe eventually ends near Ballachulish. One may imagine the travel writer H.V. Morton guiding his Morris tourer along this path beneath the mountains.
Thank you so much, Sylvia. And for your fav. and Watchlist, too! The light in Glencoe can alter greatly in a short time (guess that’s typical of many places) so I was lucky to get the warm variety on the Autumn vegetation. And I helped fix up the busker’s pipe chanter reed nearby, lol.
WOW, great shot, wonderful composition and the foreground interest is absolutely great!! Like the DOF and the lighting on the grass!! Very well done. Brendan
Hi Brendan, many thanks for your comments. I think I was using about a 16mm FL in DX format. Hope the studies are going well.

Another Beauty, this one is really captivating,
well done, – Peter

Beautiful landscape and photographic artistry. Love the color saturation.
Many thanks, Kurt. I reduced the saturation a little, too! I normally shoot at -1/3 to reduce highlight blowout, and that increases the sat. slightly.

What a beautiful scene! Stunning lighting, and I heartily admire the dof you used to capture this.
Many thanks, Jan. Glencoe usually looks good, sun or snow.

Oh this is beautiful – viewed larger its incredible.
Thank you, Bev. It is always a drive or walk to enjoy, even though the Robert Campbell/McDonald massacre is slightly overplayed.

Wow! That is a great landscape. Love the beautiful light in the valley and the all over clarity of the shot.
Thank you, Thordis. I am very envious of the mountains you have in Iceland, and never tire of seeing the shots you make from them.
