Chocolate Bear...

This boy is a black bear, but turned out brown… And was just there laying down on the side of the road on this nice and warm afternoon…

Unfortunatly he is hurt at one of his paw, and hopefully he will survive…

Frank.. this is wonderful.. can you call someone to help>or.. let nature take and give to it’s own…. really great energy for you.

  • Frank Legault

Frank Legault in reply to linaji’s comment, 6 months ago

Thanks for your appreciation linaji, glad you like it… I think we shold let nature do his own work, as everything has a beginning and an end, if this on survive, it will be great for him, but if not, other will benefits of mother nature’s gift…

Beautiful shot, I wonder how did you get that close and survived, his mother could have been nearby…

  • Frank Legault

Frank Legault in reply to Andromedae’s comment, 6 months ago

Thanks Andromedae… And to answer you question, I was at about 100 feet sitting in my truck, with a 500mm lens… Also that bear is by himself, it is the second time I see him in a week, he must be about 18 months old, which means mama’s gone, and it’s his first spring by himself this year… Hopefully his wound wont lead him to death, and live long life…

  • Andromedae

Oh, 500 mm lens, lucky you. Good story, thank you, good luck to him too.
