it is the time for the looking glass.
I look in, and see me stare,
my soul on show, open, laid bare.
This body, it is now my world,
oh how my life unfurled.
Was full of happiness and joy,
now I hide from deaths dark ploy.
Each shallow breath my freedom absconds,
breaking the ice of my minds frozen pond.
My body and limbs, how they confine,
like chain and lock, it tightly binds.
I see them look through the glass
pity on mind, their faces’ aghast.
Fuck them! what do they know?
“only concern!” It is all for show.
So come now death, do not hide,
take me on my final ride.
But before we go, death take off your mask,
let me see you!, through my looking glass.
