I spent all day Saturday ‘harvesting’ the garden. The pile of tomatoes, miniature pumpkins, and indian corn were gathered on the lawn in front of my marigolds. There was such a menagerie of color and pleasing shapes and designs that I spent almost twice as much time photographing the fruits of my labor than I actually did harvesting them!
Here is a sampling of autumn’s bounty for your enjoyment!
I think this would make a lovely Thanksgiving greeting card!

This is GORGEOUS!!! Are these amazing colors the true colors of the corn … whether they are or not, this is such a wonderful image … you’ve also really captured the amazing texture of corn .. the great glowing sheen on each kernal!!!! I love this shot!!!

  • Yes indeed! The corn is a variety of Indian corn and there were cobs that were deep deep maroon, teal blue, yellow and green, and this rainbow colored version. I was also captivated by the sheen of the kernals. Some cobs had a shiny veneer and others not. I hope to put up more over the next week! thanks for commenting!
