After a summer storm, this rainbow appeared in the pasture behind our house. My daughter followed me out into the field while I took a few pictures and then we both turned to walk back in. When I glanced back at her she was still peering up into the sky at the rainbow and something about that moment really captured my heart as I became acutely aware of how transient both rainbows and childhood are. Her reluctance to turn her back on the stunning beauty that was still suspended in the sky was a reminder to me that we must never turn our back on childhood dreams.

“Childhood Dreams” was the winning photograph submitted to Midwest Living Magazine which awarded me with the prize of a Flip video!

Super shot!!! Love the clours of the rainbow, the flowers in the grass and how you caught her checking it out. Nicely done.
