We’re headed West!!
My husband and I are taking a somewhat spontaneous trip out West to pick up a camper and truck to store for a friend over the summer. This involves a one way flight from Omaha, Nebraska to Bozeman, Montana ($79!) What a deal!! And then we drive the whole outfit back home to Vermillion, South Dakota.
Now — I’m the traveller in this marriage and my husband is not — though he did enjoy Wyoming and Montana very much last summer. We haven’t decided exactly on our route home but I ’m trying very hard to talk him out of the “straight shot” of Interstate 90 ALL THE WAY (yawn!!).
I want so badly to take the Beartooth Highway (212) .. also known as America’s Most Beautiful Highway. But I know this is out of the way. We will for sure be taking 3 days — maybe 4 to get home. So if anyone knows of great places in Montana or Wyoming along the Interstate 90 or from Yellowstone Park heading East through Wyoming on 14 that are a “must see” I would certainly welcome your suggestions!!
Our flight leaves at 6 a.m. Wednesday so I’ll see ya’all again next week!

and tell him about things on that hwy!! OR just let him know what his life will be like for the rest of it, if you guys have a chance to do a once in a lifetime thing..and miss out on it “GULPS” that should do the trick! lol besides.you have a camper..use it!
