Laughter in Lavendar
One early mystic is quoted as saying that we were created from the laughter of the Trinity. I love the idea that the essence of creation—and the life force behind it—is joy. Simply the idea of the expression of laughter combined with omnipotence: This is, to my mind, truly “holy”.
Why these tulips reminded me of this, I can’t really tell you. Perhaps it was the way they echo’d in triplicet one behind another or maybe it was the way their purple and white petals inspired thoughts of majesty and purity.
