Music, Please Drown The Noise

I don’t have all the answers. What I do know is that God knows your heart.
So many people spout words here and words there without always thinking.
God does not listen to our words but listens to what is in our hearts. Our genuine desire to follow Him and do His will. I pray that God will help you to find peace and strength to know His will for your life.

A scripture comes to mind. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will grant you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4. When we delight in Him, immerse ourselves in His Word and continually have fellowship with Him in prayer and worship, he moulds us into the people he wants us to be and needs us to be.

He will not take away our desires, but as we follow Him and delight in Him He will grant us the desires of our hearts.

That so? Here’s mine, then.

My desire, God?

The day that I will no longer need to lie to myself
In order to live in the Truth

When I will no longer need to die
In order to live
Or lose
In order to win

When the law bows down to Love
And people stop trying to make me believe
That loving You must not be enough

When You stop pretending to humor Lucifer
When the paradoxes melt away
When having Your Son inside me doesn’t feel strange

When the last traces of that ancient fruit
Bleed themselves free from my veins

When my siblings will not be so foolish to assume
That to walk on the same Path
Means we walk in the same shoes
Or that they could wear mine
Without getting their feet bruised

Or that we must be uniform
In our glorification of You
Unaware Christ would be Hitler
If that were indeed true

(It’s a family , not an army , for crying out loud!)

That being said

I guess, Father, that even though I’m not
Entirely sure what it means
(since even my biggest slice of it
was but a microscopic piece)

What I pray for

What I yearn for

What I long for

Is what seems to be the key that unlocks the rest of what You promised me:

Peace
