The final assignment for my ART 499 class with David Hylton (Digital Illustration). Project title – Memories. Elements used – various completed art assignments, ranging from those I did while still a college freshman, to more recent works. Also used a photo of the sky (taken in Rome), and a photo of my old sketchbook, in which I did a lot of thumbnail sketches for many of my graphic design projects. This project, in essence, represents everything it took for me to finish my college education, and the hope that the future holds good things for me.
What a wonderful piece.. So full of memories; I love how you’ve made them floating up in bubbles. Kind of makes me think of the fleeting nature of our lives, and how fast time goes by when we don’t pay attention… Amazing work.
This is why you should never discard ANYTHING! Amazing work deserving of much praise—which I hope you get from this assignment. Great imagination, compelling composition, awesome colors. Nice work!
seriously blows my mind! How awesome this is…I was proud of myself when I learned how to remove acne from a face! =) ha ha…I have SOO much to learn. You and billyboy both blow me away with your photoshop skills! GREAT JOB!!!!!
Very beautiful and creative, I am wondering which application you used to create these bubbles or balls effect. Can I use Photoshop CS3 to do the similar effect?
yup! Photoshop CS3 should be able to do it… seeing as to how I did this entire project with CS2 :P
i actually learned the bubble effect from this book called Creative Photoshop Lighting Techniques, by Barry Huggins
