( Sequel to The Walrus King Gets His Game On )
After a getting the cold shoulder from Margaret the Man-Eating Crocodile, the Walrus King eventually did find a suitable made after the flood waters receded. She was the Walrus Queen (convenient, huh?), and he found her hiding on a rather large, lush island… which was actually once the top of Mount Fuji.
But of course, with the Walrus King’s luck, happiness wouldn’t last long. The Walrus Queen conveniently forgot to tell him that the locals had a ritual of sacrificing newcomers to what they called the “Pink Demon.” It was a monster that was constantly hungry for flesh, and those native to the island needed to make daily sacrifices to it, lest the monster eat the locals themselves.
So while the Walrus King was putting his moves on the Walrus Queen, the Fuji tribesmen snuck up on them, slaughtered them both, placed their heads in a ceremonial basket, and left them in the Dark Forest for the Pink Demon to find them.
And, not even five minutes afterwards, the Pink Demon known as Kirby came bouncing up through the trees to see what those on the island had sacrificed for him today.
“Oooooooh, walrus heads! My favorite! Om, om, om, om, omph… aaah that really hit the spot!”
