I loved that you used an atypical female model for this. I think she helps give this picture its energy, whereas some itty bitty waif would have made it look ridiculous. Both of them are beautiful! (And so is the shot!)

Hi Geri!
it’s a technique called HDRi, which stands for High Dynamic Range photography… there’s several different ways to do it – in my case, it was mostly experimenting with duplicate layers/ layer masks/ blending modes… Paul does it much better, and can also probably explain it much better than I could
