yeah, i just went up and asked them… i figured the NYPD have a good enough attitude to not be uptight about having their photo taken.
you have to be careful though – not everyone in the city is so laid back about it. just make sure you always ask politely (unless you’re going for a candid shot – in that case, just make sure they don’t see you, hehehe)
