Poetry

After Dinner

Beauty lies in many essences.
Tonight, Tchiachovsky in sweet delirium, enraptures souls.
Thoughts melodically sent hither,
To memories all special, all meaningful,
Surge and dream of love.

How to draw the bow so eloquently?
With such grace.
Young hands caress an old man’s heart.

Inside I remember,
Violins and the vision of you.
An arrangement in C minor.
I have not yet the time to miss you.

Thanks wigs! I wrote this on a serviette at a dinner party I attended on the day I broke up with my fiance. I’ll never forget that night!
