This is one of my favorite photographs.

My son, Chris, and I hiked the Inca Trail together,
arriving at the Sun Gate to Machu Picchu one amazing morning.

I love the natural and happy look on Chris’s face.
What more could a dad want?

Did you notice the word “enlightened” on Chris’s shirt?
Did that evoke a feeling?

Enlightenment is not so mystical
as it is simply cultivating awareness and love.
