fantastic shot, well done

Good Lord, you cannot believe how some poor people are forced to live. Can’t image the women would get very clean through the clothing….. amazing capture.

I like it, good perspective, like the b&w too

Another wonderful and creative image. I love the long DOF. It makes everything so sharp and really sets the scene.

Love this capture, I remember using these showers also. Getting out of the desd sea will create a crust of salt and minerals all over the body… As for ltruskett comment, the women are muslims, so they abide by the modesty rules and cannot be with a bathing suit, so they go with their clothes and wash with it.. They are not forced to live that way, it’s a way of life and their choice. Thanks for sharing this great editorial image with the Art of the Middle East group.

Eyal and ltruskett, not only muslim women bath with their clothes, i have seen religious orthodox jewish women doing that as well.
Well if it’s their free will it’s OK, i respect their choice.

Great image, a nice use of different lines. Interesting subject and discussion too! I guess that is what travel is all about…

I think this image is really good….it is interesting, has good clarity and tells a story!

Moshe, you’re right, Orthodox jews, muslims, druze and other people who believe in modesty laws and practices will bath fully clothed. or sit in the water.. something like Segalili image of Four Druze Women
