Wow, it’s been a year since I updated my journal last. Time flies when you’re having fun (doing A-levels… haha). I’m no longer going to Leeds to study photography, I got the grades but decided I didn’t want to spend 3 years viewing photography as work. Photography is fun and fun shouldn’t be work. Also, I realised how much I love history and I don’t want to stop studying it, so now I’m applying to Sheffield Uni to study International History and International Politics, and I’m very excited about it.

Secondly, who would you recommend for portfolio websites? I’m building one to make it easier for people to buy prints without going through proxy like devART or Redbubble (and therefore without paying their commission). I’d need 3-4 different sections on the portfolio (photography, traditional art, cd/album artwork, effects pedals) and ideally the possibility of creating subsections within them. I’d like a page where you can thumbnail view everything in the category. Obviously need an about me/contact details page too. But the most important thing is being able to put paypal buttons and pricing options on, eg. have a shopping basket and checkout page I guess. I just don’t know what to do!

Soooo… can you guys help? Where’s the best place to get to host you? I’ve looked at places like bigblackbox.com and they’re just way out of my price range tbh.

Please help, anything you can tell me about anything to do with any of this! Hehe :)
