This is a pencil drawing of the beautiful St Peters in WINCHCOMBE gloucestershire. This is the east elevation which is now the main entrance. I could draw parts of the church over and over again.
Beautiful work David. x
Many thanks for your comment, I really enjoyed painting this one, and I’m hoping it will sell, what little sales revenue I take goes to defrying some my hobbies costs, but if I live to a hundred I don’t think it will pay it’s way!
Your cohosts,Cee and Chris

Thank you very much for your comments, you must stay up half the night! I was pleased the way this turned out, it’s funny when you start a painting you never quite know, then that’s part of it.
Congratulations! Your work has been featured in “An Outcast somewhere ….”
Your work was chosen because it was of a very high quality and it captured exactly the sort of art we are looking for in this group.

Your beautiful painting brings back such pleasant memories of our visits to this wonderful village, David! Thanks for this gift!
A beautiful scene.
Have you seen Bamburgh (northumberland) a street like this, but with a giant castle at the end, then lots of white beach and sand dunes. Not many tourists.
The coloured bricks on the gable end, must have taken a lot of labour, and attention to detail. Excellent and a fave!
I must confess to being enchanted with this lovely village in my one visit to the UK but you have captured it so perfectly in this gorgeous and beautifully detailed painting! Your color palette is just gorgeous!
