Patron saints of mediocracy

Second place is never good enough for people who strive for perfection. It’s only good enough for those of us who’ve come to relise that we can’t do any better.

I was just trying to be cynical. I always dream, and they do rarely come true. But I still like to dream

But if you don’t dream, you will never be sad. It all makes so much sense

Yes but if you are never sad, you can never really appreciate joy. Learn to be happy with the highs and lows…then even disappointments bring the hope that every day is a new chance for change. Methinks someties a change of focus is all the change thats needed…what about if the value of the striving and dreaming were icreased to equal the value of winning? Who sets these values anyway????

You may never understand the joy of accomplishments, but you will also never know the disappointment of defeat. Thus life is a monotone of daily grim with no failures and no losses. Since life with dreams is mostly small defeats, then without the dreams and assperations, you can just be content with a life of mediocracy
