city life

just another day in the city

life aint so pretty when for a bed

its a concrete step and cardboured sheets

shop door way blows

as the boy goes down

the man sighes replete

all for the price of a needle

what a treat

sex bought and sold life on the street

body caught rolling hear and there

as the escilater turns and rush hour churns

got to get to work

eyes closed pretend its not there

and poloticians just make the same

old empty sounds

hearts harden as the concrete wall that surround

just another life

in the lost and found

somwhere a dog is crying

as the old man lays dieing

for the lack of a price

of tea and a slice

just another day life in the city
