i have been expressing myself in paint since befor i could walk having a love hate relationship with art ever since and long layoffs the last lasted for 7 years i felt i had nothing to say i had lost my voice well ive found it again and im back painting with more confidence than ever part of the problem has always been that i am allso a musician songwritwer and producer and am always split between the two but now i am managing to combine both disaplins i work in acrilics because i enjoy both the water colour propertys and the ability to use them as oils allso because of the scale of my work and the detail if i were to use oils it would take a year to do one painting i work usually on plywood i enjoy the texture of the grain and as a rulr between 3ft by 4ft or 4ft by 5ft my work varies between wildlife studys and what i call dreamscapes i have know wish to create work that looks like a photograph but i am heavily influenced by photographie but my works are most definatly paintings i put much detail into my paintings and on my dreamscapes i take great liberty with composition and perspective but still follow the rules of composition the only bounderies in life are our own imaginations and in my art i expand my imagination to its fullest all my work can be purchesed in its origianal form by contacting me at donalddean51@yahoo.co.uk you can see more of my work and hear my music by visiting my websitehttp://www.deansmusicart.co.uk
