I saw these growing on the side of an I45 feeder road as I was heading toward Galveston. They were such an unusual color I had to turn around and go back to photograph them. Indian Paint Brushes are usualy one shade of orange-red with white accents. These are multi-colored in shades of orange without red. I’ve never seen any like them before.

    Nice find Debbie – I’ve spent many shoots with the local nevada IPB, but I’ve never ever seen anything like these guys. Great shot
