I am fery glad to share with you friends that I added a new lens to my current kit lenses. Its a Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 DC OS HSM MACRO lens and I am enjoyng the results and exploring my new capabilities. More about this lens here 
Now I have the same Canon 1000d body,Sigma 17-70mm, 55-250 lens, 50mm prime,, some filters and a tripod.
