    I love how stark this image is. You’ve managed to capture the beauty and harshness of that peak. I’ve wanted to scale Rainier for ages. I had the chance to climb Pike’s Peak a couple of weeks ago. And the view was amazing. Do you climb?

    Thanks for the great compliments, I to love this image, I was hoping to duplicate an Ansel Adams type image. As a long time mountain climber I have been drawn to this peak many times since I first stood on it’s summit in 1985. I used to gage my progress climbing up the mountain by using the Tatoosh Range (Which is were this image was taken) as a baromiter.
