Lindisfarne (or Holy Island) is located off the coast of Northumberland, England, near Berwick-upon-Tweed. Taken just before sunset, this picture shows Lindisfarne’s characteristic huts made from old boats, with Lindisfarne Castle (originally a Tudor fort, but converted into a private house in 1903) in the background.

Taken with a Sony Alpha 700 and Sigma 10-20mm lens at 20mm. This is my first published (in print) photo and is a single RAW shot exposed 5 times and then HDR’d using Photomatix 3.
