PoemsProseArt is a combination of my art and photography with Glennis’ poetry and other writing. She writes some really pronominal haiku.
The idea to put her poetry together with my artwork was inspired by redbubble’s postcard poetry contest. Originally I told her about it thinking she would enjoy entering some of her writing. She was very excited about the prospects, but very busy and did not have the time to enter then.
So we came up with the idea of having her share her poetry with me, having me put it on my work as time allows, and I will pass along a portion of the proceeds to her.
So far I have one of her haiku about a foggy morning combined with one of my pictures of a foggy sunrise over the Columbia River.
